Oricon Survey for most Interesting Manga

Manga means comic and print cartoon in Japanese. Its widely read by people of all ages in Japan. Japanese manga are devided into several genre such as action-adventure, romance, sports and games, historical drama, comedy, science fiction and fantasy, mystery, horror, sexuality, etc. If a manga series is popular enough, it maybe animated, or being film for a drama series or a movie, i.e. Hana Yori Dango, Rookies, H2O, etc.
So did you wonder which is the most interesting manga series ?
To find out the answer, lets take a look at a recent Oricon survey. Asking 300 teenagers with age around 14-19 years old for the most interesting manga series they had read.
The result was, the long-running adventure manga “One Piece” was ranked #1, followed by the classic basketball manga “Slam Dunk.”
“Dragonball” and “Death Note” tied for 3rd, while the comedy series “Gintama” took 5th. “Lovely Complex” share #6 spot with “Nodame Cantabile.”
At #8 was “Detective Conan,” beating out “Hana Yori Dango,” which tied for #9 with “Fullmetal Alchemist.”
As you can see, all of them already been animated and film.
